What charities are you affiliated with?

The Virtual Run to the Show 5K Series will donate a portion of the proceeds to Team Red, White and Blue. If you are a non-profit interested in working with Margaritaville Sports and Recreation, please contact us!

Virtual Run Series:

What is a virtual run?

A virtual run is an event where you pick the location and whether you want to run or walk it. We call it…your race, your pace, your place! Over the course of a period of time outlined in the race registration, you can complete the mileage. For the Virtual Run to the Show 5K series, you have 10 days to complete 3.1 miles. If you have further questions, just contact us!

You have 10 days to complete the 5K, the start date for the window to run would be 10 days prior to the concert. This way, the concert date would be the last date of the event window.

Each race series has different perks with registration. For the Virtual Run to the Show 5K series, participants receive a custom 3.5” medal along with a virtual swag bag that has different offers and discounts for participants. With the Run to Margaritaville Pensacola Beach race, onsite participants receive a custom 24 ounce Tervis tumbler, a finisher’s medal, entrance into the post-race tailgate, a free beer (21 and up only), and a free grab and go breakfast option.

Can I register on race day?

Race day registration may not be available due to registration caps.

What are the registration fees?

For the Run to Margaritaville, registration fees are as follows:

What is the race refund policy?

Events will take place, rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather and event cancellation, no refunds will be issued. As a reminder there will be no refunds issued for the Virtual 5K or Virtual Half Marathon. Salty Rim Productions, LLC reserves the right to cancel any event due to accidents, inclement weather or any acts or causes which require cancellation of the event for safety or security reasons. Salty Rim Productions, LLC may remove a participant without refund, should the behavior of the participant endanger the safety or negatively affect a race, venue, the individual, or property of any kind.

Can I transfer my registration to another runner?

At this time, we do not allow transfers of bib numbers or registrations to other runners.

What does my entry fee include?

Participants in the Run to Margaritaville Pensacola Beach will receive a finisher’s medal, an event t-shirt OR 24 oz Tervis Tumbler, and access to the post-race tailgate.

Is there online confirmation?

Participants registering on active.com will receive a registration confirmation via email.

What do I do if I cannot find my registration?

How do I get there?

Please review the Pensacola Directions link for more information on getting to the Gulfside Pavilion on Pensacola Beach.

Is there parking?

Parking is available at the Gulfside Pavilion and in public parking areas along Pensacola Beach.

Is there a fee for parking?

At this time, there is no fee for parking, but be aware that there is a $1 toll to cross into Pensacola Beach.

The Course:

Are the courses certified?

All of the courses for the Run to Margaritaville will be USATF certified.

Are the 5K and Half Marathon loop courses?

Yes. Both the 5K and half marathon courses are an out and back courses.

Is there a time limit?

Yes. Participants in the half marathon must complete the race in less than three and a half hours. Participants in the 5K must complete the race in less than one and a half hours.

When is the start time?

Schedule for the races will be release soon.

Are strollers, dogs or bicycles allowed on the course during the race?

No. Please refer to our What to Bring/What Not to Bring list on the “Pensacola Travel” tab to determine what items are not allowed.

Will you have aid stations and portalets on the course?

Aid stations and portalets will be available along the Run to Margaritaville Pensacola Beach course.

Is there medical support?

Medical support is available throughout the Run to Margaritaville Pensacola Beach course as well as the finish line.

Extras:

Will you have a photographer?

Yes. Photographers will be available along the course.

Where can I find race results?

Race results are available on the website tab titled “Race Results.”

I have a question about my finishing time. Whom can I contact?

When is the award ceremony and where is it held?

The award ceremony will occur at the post-race party at Landshark Landing. The exact time is to be determined.
